MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY FOR SEVIER COUNTY TEENS

Collecting Hygiene Products Will Aid Sevier County Teens While Waiving Fines on Library Cards

Make a Difference with Sevier County Family Resource Center and Sevier County’s Promise to assist teens with basic hygiene items for the Teen Christmas Project.  Besides helping Sevier County teens with necessary personal care products, donations dropped off at any branch of the Sevier County Public Library System (SCPLS), will also waive any accrued fines on one library card account.  The hygiene supply drive will last the entire month of October.

Christmas is just around the corner so donations received now will be so beneficial in assisting with the Make a Difference Day project for this year.  The list of hygiene items needed includes:

·         Body Wash

·         Soap

·         Razors

·         Shampoo

·         Deodorant

·         Dental Floss

·         Chapstick

·         Combs/Brushes

·         Socks

Bring any two (2) of the suggested hygiene supplies and get any amount of fine waived per library card.  The amount of the fine is irrelevant and only fines will be waived.  Lost or damaged items will still require payment for the loss and processing of materials.
