A Unique Twist On A Four-Generation Photo

By Amy Barnett, Macaroni Kid Madison, MS April 30, 2018

If you're anything like me, you have tons of family photos hanging all over your house. I've always loved personal pictures with a fun frame to add some flare to it. Fortunately, I still have a very active and spunky grandmother, so once my daughter was born, I couldn't wait to get my mom and grandmother together and have a four-generation photo taken. To add some fun, I used the technique below to make the picture unique.

Step 1. I framed a photo of my daughter.

Step 2. Then I had a photo taken of me holding the framed photo.

Step 3. I framed the photo of me holding the photo of my daughter and took a photo of my mother holding it.

Step 4. Then I did the same thing again with my grandmother.

So here is the final product! I loved how it turned out so much that I have made it an annual tradition.
